MY STORY

Hello, and thank you so much for stopping by!  My name is Jaeme and I am the owner/baker at Glutenus Minimus Baked Goods.  My love of baking is genetic as far as I can tell.  My Great Grandmother was a phenomenal baker and that skill seems to have been passed down to my mom and then on to me.  

In my mid-twenties I was diagnosed with a wheat allergy.  At that time it wasn't cool to be gluten free, so options were limited and I was very nervous to try non-wheat baking.  Fast- forward to 2020 and I began to have some minor health complications, plus there was this whole pandemic thing that left me with some time on my hands.  I was tired of rock hard, overpriced, disappointing bread so I attempted my first home made gluten free artisan loaf, which turned out pretty well.  From there I started making cupcakes, of all variety of flavour.  These were received with rave reviews from friends and family.  At that point, with some encouragement from the above, I decided to take the leap and start a side business.

Thus Glutenus Minimus was born!  I'm so happy you've found my little passion project and I hope you find something special here!!
